C6 tranny, engine swap

You all have way more knowledge than I.

I have a 71 F100 with a 360 that has taken a dump. lost the valve seats, and rings. Have an opportunity to put my hands on a SB 400.
Question is, can i use the C6 from the 360 on the 400? Is there an adapter, or do I have to go to a baby C6?

You referring to a 351m/400 engine family? if so, then that c6 will not work. You would need a c6 for a 351m/400 or 429/460.
