Here are the casting numbers that I got off the block of my 390:
C7ME-A On the block
8A17 Is the date code (January 17, 1968)?
There is also a tag with a "W" under this date code which of course is under the oil filter.
2T is on the Crank
D2EAA Is on the heads
Of course I have the typical 352 cast in the front as well as on the back, and there is a '33 DIF' which I think means it came from Dearbourne
Any clarification on exactly what this is?

2T is the only one that helps you identify the CID. Unfortunately, it is a 360 crank. Which I am sure is not what you wanted to hear.
The heads are late heads and have hardened seats if they have not been ground on too severely. They are low exit heads, which will work properly with Truck headers.
DIF means Dearborn Iron Foundry.
Block casting numbers are particularly useless, but based on the date code and crank, I would say you can be assured it is a 360.
As you may know the block/bore is the same on 360/390/410, you only need use the appropriate crank, rods and pistons.
Can't help with the 33.

"D2EAA Is on the heads" The D2 is for 1972, but doesn't the "E" denote which body style they where designed for? I couldn't find what it was. Usually "T" is for truck.

I was assuming it was a typo and they are in FACT D2TE-AA (prolly should have said so, sorry). D2EA-A is not listed in any of my books. If D2EA-A is in fact the number, disregard what I said about them because I have never heard of ‘em.

Anyways, I think the previous owner got some of those remanufactured heads because they have a machine shop style stamp that says this:
8194 10/94 at the front of each head. They are hardened seats as far as I know!

After these old trucks change hands a few times they are almost all 390s, or sold to be I should say.
