Hey everyone sorry I’ve been gone so long but I do have a little progress to report even though I'm not working on it I do keep planning and picking up parts. Something new is I have decided to go with a fuel injected 4.6L from a 98 mustang I picked up. It was my nephew's car that he loved and took good care of until someone rear-ended him and totaled the car. The motor still runs great and is real strong so it should be a good fit as that is same type motor that was in the F150 as well. I also picked up a lowering kit for the 2002 chassis to drop it about 4" and a set of aftermarket wheels and tires that where on a 2003 Lightning. The wheels are a little big for my taste but will do for now.
here are a few pic's as no update is any good without them....
The 98 Mustang
It got hit so hard that the door overlaps the rear door jam by a good 4" and it buckled the door and the front fender on the the drivers side.
The wheels on the 2003 Lightning
The day I got them
And last of all how the project sits today....

I had an old parts hood that had a bunch of dents and rust and I was cleaning out the part shed so it was time for it to go. before I tossed it I pulled the "FORD" emblems off the front and almost left the side badges as they looked really faded and were so dirty that I didn't think they were any good. But I pulled them and cleaned them up just to make sure and after a quick paint job on one I was sure glad I did as they look great and will be going on my truck when it's done...

Trying to fix the pictures on this Thread as Photobucket wants $400 per year now to host photos (Sorry but I will be spending that on my truck not "PhotoRipOff")

Yes I know it's been years. But how did this project turn out?
