C6 modulator question

I need some help in an area where I know little. I have a 351 Cleveland backed with a C6 that was pulled from an ambulance and built for street/strip some years ago. I decided to install an adjustable TCI modulator. Here is where things got strange. I pulled the current modulator with no issues and the push pin cam out with it...normal. I installed the pin in the new unit and it sticks out quite a bit more than it did with the old one. I’ve been trying to find a spec online for pin depth or protrusion and I’m at a loss. The difference I notice is that the current unit has a black stripe and the TCI unit is a purple stripe. Any and all help appreciated.

Take a screen shot on your phone that should reduce the pictures...

I have a book I will see if it says anything this evening.

It finally hit me...to send the pics to myself via email and downsize them that way. Hopefully this works. I’m going to try to find a Ford trans guy in the area that may know.

The 460 thread that was posted is a little helpful, but I just want a definitive answer, so I can move on. I’m also going to take the old one back out and head to a Ford dealer...maybe I can get some pins, who knows. Thanks again.
