Hello,
I have a 1969 F250 360 FE with the 3 speed on the tree ford light duty transmission. I would like to convert it to a C6 transmission. I found a guy with a 1970 F250 with a 360 FE and C6 transmission.. He’s willing to part it out. So far I know I need the steering column, driveshafts, the transmission itself, transmission mount. I’m sure I’m missing a lot more... hopefully someone will chime in

Make sure you pull the pilot bushing out of the rear of the crank. You can use a puller designed for that or pack the hole full of grease and use a dowel pounded in the hole to push the bushing out.

Use bread instead of grease, not as messy. White, wheat, sourdough it don't matter.

I'm a little late to the party, but check the driveshaft length and yoke for compatibility. Even if both trucks have the same bed length, the C6 may be longer
