There was a steel strap/clamp sort of thing that was around the steering column thru-firewall bracket on the engine side. From the exploded diagrams it seems to share a part number with the bracket plate itself. Is there a source for the strap/clamp anywhere? Alternatives? Mine was completely rust frozen at the bolt and I had to cut it. I don't think a hose clamp would be quite sufficient.

Something like this will probably work. It's part of the whole cold air intake product line. I don't remember if it should be 3" or 4" but this is a google search for 4". https://www.google.com/search?q=4%22+ba ... rc=_&vet=1 Probably get one at your local parts store over in the custom/modified section where they keep the cold air intake parts.
