'68 "Ranger" Emblem Hardware
I have both of the original "Ranger" emblems for the side of the bed on my '68 F250 Camper Special. I'm having a hard time tracking down what piece of hardware though actual retains the emblem to the body of the bed. The holes are all there but I've had no luck going through the usual catalogs to find whatever retaining hardware is needed. Even went to Home Depot to see if something would work but no dice. Any leads?

It should have been a 3/8" head sheet metal nut, a nut actually made out of sheet metal. The thread pitch cuts two threads in the stud. Inside the base of the thread is a tar like substance that seals the hole.
