Gas Cap O-ring

Post by mkoecher »

I have two gas caps on my truck but unfortunately both of the O-rings that seal against the filler neck are split. I really like the look of these gas caps and would like to keep using them. Does anyone know where to get a new O-ring for these gas caps?

I bought a cheap gas cap at autozone and the O-ring is different and would not work with my old gas caps. Any suggestions?

Thanks

My local True Value hardware store has quite a variety of O-rings about that size in the plumbing dept. I used one for a auxiliary fuel tank sending unit seal when I couldn't find one anywhere else.
