Idler pulley and bracket for a/c

Post by Old Greener »

I'm trying to locate an idler pulley and bracket, for a factory style a/c system; it's a stock '71 390 and I'm not having any luck. My local parts guy has nothing in stock or available from his catalogues. Scrap yards in my area don't carry anything that old... thoughts? Thank you.

Are you looking for the bracket and adjuster pulley? If so, I believe I have one. Let me know exactly which one you need. I also have the 3-sheave crank pulley. It will be Tuesday before I can dig them up

Mach428 it is both pieces that I'm needing, I have the crank pulley already. It looks like the previous owner removed them, for whatever reason... everything else appears to be intact.

Old Greener,

I checked where I thought they were and cannot find the box. It's a box full of pulleys and brackets for mostly FE engines. I'll do a more productive in depth search tomorrow
