Several months ago, I promised someone on the Forum some photos of my gas tank on the passenger side (I have the main tank, the driver-side tank, and a passenger-side third tank). I forgot all about it until I was under the truck today. So, hopefully, this will help out.

I've never seen a tank switching valve like that. Any idea if it's factory?

My 68 has those same tanks (same company) but I have a 3 way manual valve on the floor next to the drivers door so I'm wondering the same thing - it does match the other Ford switches........
