Hi, I'm restoring 1970 XLT. I'm experiencing problems aligning the doors. does this model of f100 present a problem of door alignment for a restoration quality? I've google many pics and notice some cab/door alignment might be tough? The truck has not been wrecked and I'm using the original parts. Or is this just a rookie installation problem?
Thanks
LT

Re: door alignment
What is your particular issue? Can you provide any pictures illustrating the problem?

Re: door alignment
that a big question for a rookie. Basically I removed door, hinges and repainted. When putting back nothing lines up. it's one them deals where I need to know what to align first then where to work from. We had the door lined up on outer edges but then had to move cause the door wouldn't shut due to the hinge wide was too close in to body. I guess my biggest question is what is the first area to align then what area to align next. It's a tough task.
