c4 passing kick down

c4 passing kick down
professional rebuilt c4 trans, I'm trying to hookup linkage to new quick lane 600 carb, the passing kick down linkage will not hook up due to 2" to short. Does the tranny passing lever have adjustments at transmission? Possibly could the rebuilder placed the lever on side of tranny in wrong position? The rest of carb has been correct fit with pedal linkage, etc. Thanks a bunch, retired senior trying a frame off rebuild.

After remeasuring the the old/new manifold all dimensioning are the same. I spoke with the trany builder, possibly it's the kick down lever position after the rebuilder reasembled.
