Slowly restoring my Dad's 71 f250 camper special. This truck has been in the family since we bought back in 73 and I got it after he passed.
So, I'm missing some of the smaller bump trim pieces and was thinking, since LMC wants a good chunk of change for a set, what has others done with the bump.
My first thought was to get all new trim, bit to expensive to me.
2nd thought, maybe find pieces to replace, would need to find a ton to get some good pieces.
3rd thought, that is still a maybe, after new paint have someone airbrush the trim onto the bump, might be in the expensive category though.
4th thought, maybe see if anyone else has painted just the bump a different color then the rest of the truck. Or maybe a wide pin strip down the side or a permanent shadow on the bottom side.
if you have pics, please post.
thanks

I like your shadow idea. There should be tons of pics on google. I was missing quite a few pieces and decided to delete all the trim and fill the holes.
