I just realized I never posted on the "Welcome Mat", so it's about time... :)

Any other members in the Tampa Bay area?

I was just saying the other day...with Ford Trucks being so popular, why aren't there any "Ford Truck" Get-togethers/Shows or whatnot? Be fun to walk around a big field with the trucks grouped together by generations. Bumpsides are generation 5, and I think we are up to 13 or 14 now?

I want to thank everyone for their past & future help--I'm REALLY glad this website exists!!

I helped organized a few MNG's just north of you and found over 300 members in the state back then.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

We had three MNG's there at Sumter County if memory serves me correct. We came up one member short of getting a trophy the one year also! Then I moved back here and organized one here.
The hardest part is making folks aware of it way...in advance , (it gives folks time to plan as our lives are so busy it seems).
I had painstakingly compiled a list of all the Florida members back then, (it takes days to go through the member list to find all in a particular state).
I'd also offered the list to anyone there knowing I was moving-but no takers. Not real sure if the list got on this new puter or not. Give me a few days and I'll try to find the list in the coming days-it will help tremendously to get guys fired up about a MNG.
