68 ranger f350 dump bed parting
parting out 68 ranger f350 w/ 12 foot bed. the bed is good. all controls are there. engine was removed many years ago and never fixed. packrats ruined the cab and ate the wiring so only good for parts. the bellhousing and clutch/pressure plate and linkage is all there. the front clip is being used on another project. the seat is usable and could be recovered. the roof of the cab was sawed off and sold. I didn't realize that roof drip rail rot was common. I will be removing the cab soon and the frame with hoist and bed will be a rolling unit. seems like a shame to scrap a good bed and hoist with the 4 speed/pto intact. would make a neat dump trailer by installing an electric hydraulic pump but I don't need another project. drivers door is good. no rust rot on the bottom and is fairly straight and the window and door handle works.

Can you tell me what axle is in the back? I'm looking for a Power-Lock carrier for a D70.

The Power-Lock would be a two piece carrier that has angled ramps where the cross pins seat in the carrier. The standard two piece 4 pinion open carrier will not have ramps. Hope this helps.
