1967 F100 vs F250 4x4 differences?
Besides frame thickness, what other differences are there if any. Brakes? Differential?

Re: 1967 F100 vs F250 4x4 differences?
they are very different.
f100
- lighter frame
-front axle is coil springs
- lighter brakes
- 5 lug wheels
- smaller axles and rear differential
- as mentioned t-case is either 2wd or 4wd , no 4wd high and low range
- t-case is married to back of transmission.
all in all is a lighter duty truck.
f250
- heavier frame and thicker steel
- front axle is leaf springs
-much larger brakes
- much larger axles and differentials
- 8 lug wheels
-t case is divorced from tranmission and offers 2wd, 4wd low range and 4wd high range.
all in all a much heavier duty truck.
really all the interchanges at this point in engine, transmission, body componets. maybe a rear axle.......

I seen a lot more F100s off roading so what is a 4wd low setting good for ig you already have a granny gear? Can one use the springs off an F250 and put them on an F100? Any other F250 parts worth swapping over to an F100?

4wd low range gives you another set of lower ratios to work with, Great for heavy loads and crawl speeds.
you might be able to use the rear leaf springs off a f250 in a f100 but you cant swap the leafs for coils or vise versa in the front. adding f250 leaf springs in the rear does not give you the load capacity of a 3/4 ton truck. you still have 1/2 wheel bearings and brakes. it would stiffen the ride up for you though.
