1979 F100 351M Pickup Truck

I have inherited a beautiful 1979 F100 with a 351M motor. Since I am new to owning a Ford Truck (learning quickly) I am trying to figure out what type of transmission (C4 or C6) is in the truck. From searching the internet it appears that I have a C6. I need to add trany fluid and I think I should use Type F. Am I on the right track?
