71 F250 Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Dana 60

Post by pneumanic »

I have all of the components from the front of my 67, that had a F250 suspension from a 71 installed with disc brakes. I have the stock beams, springs, spindles, rotors, calipers, steering box with rag joint (really good shape with little to no play) and tie rods / drag link. I also have a full floating dana 60 from the same 71 with 3.73 gears. It is an open diff, not posi. I also have a set of FE long tube headers and you can even have the full length 2 inch exhaust if you live locally.

I'm not trying to make any money on this stuff. To be honest, it is taking up valuable space that I really need. I'd like for someone to come and take it all, but since it is in such good shape, I can't bring myself to sell it for scrap. I'd sell the headers for $75 with the exhaust. The Dana 60 can go for around $100. Each side of the front suspension is still assembled because I removed it as assemblies. Send me a message if you are interested in anything because it will be gone one way or another by the end of June. Maybe you have something that will be useful to me and we can do a swap? I would just like to see these parts go to use to keep another truck on the road.

I have a 71 F250 with drum brakes, would this swap without having to modify anything? I live pretty far away though, shipping would probably be killer.

All of the component were originally sourced from a 71, so this should be no problem. I really don't want to go through the hassle of shipping this stuff. It would need to be disassembled and put in a crate or strapped to a pallet and then an appointment with Roadway or Yellow. I'm sure the shipping costs would exceed the components worth too.
