Howdy from the Prairie!

Post by TRBrew »

Howdy all!

I found this site when researching how to resurrect a 1973 F-250 Custom 4x4 with a 360 and manual trans from the family ranch. I was promised that I could have it, but before I drag home another project I want to make sure it is at least roadworthy.

I've been wrenching on things most of my life and I prefer the older stuff compared to the newer stuff. We are going to sell our 2000 Chevy 4x4 and buy another engine/rebuild kit for the wife's 62 CJ-5. In addition to that I have a "Frankenjeep" that is a total project.

I'm hoping that I can resurrect the F-250 to replace the Chevy as our second truck to tow things, a hunting rig and a general knock around truck.besides, what would be cooler than a '73 3/4 ton pulling either one of our Jeeps on a trailer?

Cheers,

Oly

Well shoot... thanks for the warm welcome and I got confused with the whole .net and .com thing... It was a long weekend!

I did correct it and just registered on the sister website, same name and I'll probably just copy the original post. :cuss: :oops!:

Cheers!
