My girl Stella

Post by tedffirediver1 »

New to posting on the Forum , bought my 1970 F100 swb 'Stella' a couple of months ago , just starting the long road of refreshing and upgrading her.
She originally was a Sport Custom with a 302 , 3 speed column shift , open rear end Skyview Blue truck.
Found her on Craigslist in Atlanta( I live in florida panhandle) , made a deal over the phone and drug her back home. Found she had been converted to a 351c which was a nice surprise , but not running at the time. She had been sitting for years , covered in what looked like green algea.
Anyhow , I wasted no time getting started .
New Cragar rims and Bfgoodrich radial t/a
I found a junkyard u pullit M5r2 5 speed tranny , rebuilt it myself and installed it
Replaced the tired 3.25 open rear with a donated Equa-Trac 4.11
Hedman long tube headers
Holley 670 carb
Wet sanded and buffed entire truck
new front bumper
about 20 hours wet sanding and buffing and straightening the grill
shortened and balanced the driveshaft
