The shifter linkage works perfect and it shifts like butter! I love it.
The only thing left to figure out it the linkage/shift boot (Underneath the cab). The plan is to fab or machine a "box" that will bolt to the bottom the assembly around the linkage. However I'm having trouble locating a suitable boot. Everything online is listed without dimensions so its hard to shop the part. I thought I would post here for suggestions on where to find a boot, I contacted various parts stores to get dimensions but of course no one will answer my emails!
I need a boot with a 2" large opening and a 5/16" small hole on the other end.
This type of boot would be perfect! :

I reversed the direction of the linkage to make the modification as simple as possible.
(The cable normally runs out the front side of the shifter)

Parts were CNC machined. Everything has bushings for easy overhaul down the road.

The underside where I need a "booted box" to keep the water out of the cab.

This is just a mock up. I sill need to cut in and weld the new tunnel cover. Cab is coming off to be cleaned, final welded, and painted.
LMK if anyone has an idea where I can get a 2"x5/16" boot.
