have followed the forum for some time and appreciate all the info and posts.
now its time to make the first one of my own
have owned and worked on jeeps and rovers but after a long while in looking, finally found the bump i've been waiting for...
a 72 1-ton cab/chassis, ranger xlt camper special, power steering, front discs, 390 big block w NP435 manual tranny.
shes a west coast truck with minimal rust and mostly original fitting. have already started working through the initial services, wiring cleanup, interior cleanout, and basic tunup (new plugs, coils, cap, carb work, fuel pump, etc) and have her running pretty good.
thought i would finally join and introduce myself as i'm sure i will be posting both questions and updates as my project progresses.
thanks so much to everyone here already who helped me narrow down what i was looking for before purchase.
