I recently purchased a 1970 F100 short bed pick up. I love this thing. Brings back many memories of my uncles 73 my family used as a runabout back in the 70's through the late 90's. That truck got USED, and used hard. But just kept right on going. I will be taking better care of mine for sure.
I have a few things I need and want to do to it. But for now will be reading up and using the search function. The biggest thing for me right now is seeing if there is a way to tighten up the slop in the power steering. Can the steering box be adjusted? Replace it? The suspension seems tight, from what I can tell it's all in the box. Maybe I am wrong, you all will know these better than me.
In any case here is my new rig. Some of you may recognize it as it was on Ebay last week. It sold, but the high bidder reneged on the deal. I live in the area of the seller and contacted him and we made a deal afterword.
I am a car nut with a few toys including a 32 Ford hiboy coupe, a 72 Ford Maverick pro touring project and now the F100.
