Not sure if this is the correct forum...
I've decided to part with my 390 and C6 tranny, just don't have the room to store it. It's complete and ran when I replaced it last year with a 302 but it does need a rebuild.
I have measured the stroke so it is definitely a 390, has a factory 4BBL intake. I've never been in it but she used to a a real romper, shes just a little tired. Anyway I was wondering what the fair market value is on the engine and trans?

It's not worth anything. Ship it up here on your nickel and I'll get rid of it for you.
Seriously, I think you should be able to get $500-750 for the combo.

Thanks, didn't expect it to have that value, but then again that's why I ask. I really hate to let it go, been my baby since about '93.

Forgot to mention the the C6 works great but but the very lower edge of the bell housing is broke off may be 3 inches long and 1/2 of an inch up from the edge.
How would that affect the asking price?

Just sold it for 750, now I'm having sells remorse... Only sold it for the floor space, I hate that!
