Anyway, he really helped me out with my garage storage situation!! He ended up needing a bunch of stuff that I had lying around as extras.. I was able to unload 2 AC compressors along with 460 mounts and pulleys, an AC condensor and dryer, some step bars for a Ford, my west coast mirrors that I decided not to run, my cab roof lights that I decided not to run, an extra new heater hose valve, an extra 70-72 hood trim piece, some restored 67 F250 emblems, an extra 71-72 grille and headlight bezels (I had 4 grilles), an extra rear view mirror, an extra set of black and yellow commercial plates, and a few other odds and ends I had that I did not need. He left here like a kid on Christmas morning and I have a bunch more shelf space now!! Of course, he insists on giving me stuff now but I dont need anything. Lucky for us, he has a few things that CNM67 needs for his truck that we have been looking for and have had a hard time finding. So tomorrow I will go and pick a C6 transmission and a 67-69 hood in good shape. Anyway, another great Fordification trade off took place and everyone got stuff they need. I am stoked to have that stuff out of my garage and see it go to someone that will put it to use! And on a crew cab at that! Brings a smile to my face!!

One of the things that his truck has that I do not have, and want, are the 2 small curved carpet hold downs (like the door sills) that go around the front curve of the rear door steps on crew cabs. I will need to take pictures of them as they are a crew cab piece only and I am sure I am going to have a hell of a time finding them. But I really want them as they will help me with my carpet situation at the steps where my front and back carpet overlap.
Anyway, another great Fordification meet and a good guy! We both can help each other out with different aspects of our truck builds.

He sent me a picture of his truck after he left with the mirrors and cab lights mocked up on it. They needed to be on that truck. He had the small sport mirrors and said he could not see a thing through them, which I know because I had them on my standard cab long bed and they were almost worthless on it. So a crew cab cannot have those little mirrors. Anyway, here is his truck:

In the meantime, I had every intention of getting stuff done on my truck today, but as of 5pm, I have not accomplished anything other than uncovering it and getting my wheels and tires from storage. It is STILL 107 outside and just too damn hot to do anything. So hopefully it will cool a little soon and I can get at least a little something done before I am out of light... In the meantime, here is the view while it was 98 in the shade INSIDE my garage...
