Hey guys. I just picked up my first project truck last weekend. Drove overnight from Southern Maine to Pennsylvania to get it. The truck is a mess right now and is actually a LOT worse then I was expecting (internet purchase). It is a 67 F100 short bed 2wd. The previous owner started a lot of things on it, but actually did more harm then good. Came with a 03+ CV IFS front end, 9" rear end with 4.11 posi and cobra disc brakes, and NASCAR truck arms for the rear suspension, none of which have been completely installed (just the original suspension parts torn out). Also has a few body components in good shape from a Cali truck (NOS inner fenders, mint tailgate and radiator support, and front fenders, drivers door and grille all in decent shape). Due to the hack job from the previous owner, I'm pretty much chalking up the cab and bed as a total loss for my purposes. Hoping to go look at a donor truck this weekend and see if I can make one good one from two. Also came with a low mileage 93 Mustang 5.0 motor w ECU, complete wiring harness and a T5 manual trans. Those are going up for sale though and being replaced with a built 460 and C6. Plans are a full ground up resto mod build over the next 4-5 years. This will be my first full blown auto build, I've always built bikes prior to this. Figured it was time to try something new (and a great excuse to buy all kinds of new tools).
