55 F100 cowl vent install

Yeah its over by about 1/2" or so but I may just sweep its curve into the cowl and section the hood to the same contour. The front curve will never match exactly but its pretty close. Im just happy I got it where its at. I used various templates to section and try things and this worked out pretty darn good.

Well I finally got the vent assembly about 90% installed and closed the remaining vents. All I need to do now is trim the lower front edge and Im all set.
The hinge arms extend into the cab a bit and I might have to make an adjustment to the wiper motor assembly to clear them but it doesnt look too bad.

I actually abandoned it. It turned out that the suck factor was pretty high.

All of the above. It didn't match the curve of the cowl. There are probably better ways to make a cowl door. My plan was to make it motor operated. I still have to vent assembly if anyone wants to give it a try.
