Rejoined the bumpside ownership group about three weeks ago when I spent too much on a 1971 F100 Custom short-bed step-side. My first bump-side was in high school many years ago when my father gave me his 1971 Ranger XLT long bed with dual tanks and a 390CID.
My new find is a rolling repair. Not one with a lot of funds and not a lot of space to work on it. It has a rebuilt (found tag on block) 240 CID inline six with Carter YFA carb. cab has some rust, as well as under the fender wells.
I am not looking to a "factory" restore but want to get it pretty close.
I look forward to reading what others are doing here.
