2 months ago I bought a 1968 250 Camper Special from a guy at work. He'd bought it 3 years ago and began the first stages of cleaning it up after it had sat in a field for 15 years previously.
It runs just fine and so far the only work it's required has been what you'd expect for a truck that's sat for the better part of 20 years. Right now she's my daily driver, which considering the 9mpg I get at the moment it's a good thing I only work 4 miles away
Anyways, I've always enjoyed working on my cars but stopped doing it when I purchased my last one, a Hyundai. I'm mostly self taught, make good use of the internet, and work with a couple of gear heads who help out a lot. After lurking fordification for the last month I thought I'd introduce myself and start a project log for all of the work I've got going on.
