Wow, super impressive!
I have a 72' F-250 CS and ran the original prices for costs through an inflation calculator to see what it would be in todays money. My truck has a lot of options, AC, PB, PS, AT, 360, two-tone, all chrome trim, and is a Sport Custom model. The price in modern moola came to a hair under 30k. Not all that different than a modern base F-250, and they come standard now with a lot of things that were extras on our trucks like AC and AT.
