Cut a giant hole into the floor of my cab for the C6 hump and another smaller hole to get the driver side floor patched up...getting ready for the other cab mount.

Cab mounts are done except for the bolt holes. I have a little more clean up and sanding to do on the inside of the floor before I use a few goodies from Eastwood that should be here this week. I got two tubes of seam sealer, two cans of texturized rust encapsulator, and a can of internal frame coating...my frame isn't boxed but I'm using it for the inside of the cowl, the rockers, inside the cab corners, inside the doors, etc. Gonna follow this up with some buff colored primer and the boxwood green on the bottom of the cab and then I'll install the cab for good with all new hardware. :D

Thanks Randy! I crept out there again today and did some more rust repair. These rust holes (both sides have them) were under the weather stripping and aluminum sill plate. Since this patch was a little more complex, I made a cardboard template first. I left the inside radius a little thick so I could trim it up and curl it over to meet the rest of the panel. I'm going to dress it up just a tiny bit more with the grinder and hopefully not use any filler. I may not anyway since it will be completely hidden from sight (but I'll know it's there!!! lol).

I got the cab's bottom primed, seam sealed, and painted yesterday!!! :D If it looks a little grainy to you that's because it is. It's the textured rust encapsulator that I put on. Next up is to get this thing back onto the fresh frame for good!!! :woohoo:

Thanks! I was trying to decide between those same two colors! I finally chose boxwood and I got single stage acrylic urethane through TCP Global.

Oh, and the primer is 2K urethane buff-colored primer from Eastwood as is the textured rust encapsulator.
