my 67 f100 project "cuz"

Post by 67_F100 »

Hi everyone i cant sleep so i decided that it was good to start a thread since tommorrow we are starting putting stuff together...sorry in advance my (S) key is almost broke so there might be some typing errors.....

well i guess it all started when me and my dad were on our way to look at a 65 or a 66 chevy pickup off craigslist that the man wanted $1400 for
so we bring a trailer to go see this "running" chevy that "only needs brake work" well we get there and my dad opened the passenger door to the truck to look inside and the door almost fell off.....the guy went to start it and the engine will not even turn over....so we left without anything and after driving about 3/4 way home i saw something that looked like a old pickup that looked cool so i asked my dad if we could stop. "next time we drive thru here we will" and about 2-3 months later we drive by again but this time we stop and knock on the door. this old lady probaly in her 90's answered the door. we asked about the truck and if they would sell it. So she says that she has to call her kids about it so we give her our number and leave...before we get home which is only about 20 minuites from where this truck is we get a call and the guys says that they will sell it for $650 and that it was there dads (pride and joy) the 1st owner had sadly passed on about 3 weeks prior...well anyway we end up paying the $650 for it and trailer it home....hook up a battery and a portable gas tank and try to start her....it turns over but does not start....well we are happy and go inside.

Well about 6 months from then we have the radiator out the new fuel pump in rebuilt carburator in and alot of little stuff like tiny buts of interior work...
i will get more pics tommorrow....thanks
