from Georgia! Great work and a really cool project. Looking forward to more. Interesting truck you have. You said it's a 1975 but it has all the lines of a '67-'72 model and the grill is a 1970, here in the states. The '73-'79 generation had a totally different body style here. I know the South American models had some different body styles that what we see over here. I like the fog lights in the grill too. Was a factory/dealer option or did someone add them after the fact? How about the Y-block? Was that original to the truck?
Thants;
I know all models of States, here this model started 1972 when finished in States, and was made for 20 years (1992) with the same lines, only 1986 modified the Grill and the instruments (See photo below). Fog Light, was adapted by the former owner... This Fog Lights are very polemic, because some people loves and the other hand the other hates... I Like but I bought the new plastic Grill, if I change the ideia...
Y Block, its a big problem, we don’t have many spare parts, and this is the original engine F100- 72-79, this model used too engine 4 cil, 6 cil inline, 4 cil MWM diesel... Here engine V8 is very expensive engine, Brazil made 3 types of V8 engine, Ford Y Block (272 e 292), Ford 302 and Chrysler 318...
