Below is the first truck I ever owned. It's a 1971 long bed, I bought it in 2002 as a sophomore in high school and thrashed it a bit too much and lost the crank bearings in 2005. It's sat in the edge of the woods until recently and had a nice coating of algae and tree sap covering the whole thing. I put a 351W out of a 1996 F150 in it, switched it to carbureted and got it up an running this past Friday, gave it a quick pressure washing and here she is. I plan to make it a long term work in process just adding and improving things over time. It definitely brings back some good memories!
I'll try to find a pic from when I first bought it; it was two tone red and white, but a large deer brought the necessity for a new fender and hood which I then followed with the terrible primer spay bombing.
