Mocking up the front suspension. Steering mod using the F350 knuckles and relocating the tie rod underneath works perfectly. Steering linkage passes perfectly through the center of the radius arm. Lock to lock no binding or contact!

Mocking up the rest of the front suspension for shock and sway bar mounting. New sway bar with Energy Suspension polyurethane end links/swaybar mounts and the Bilstein 5150's visible in this pic. A special thanks to Brian and the engineers at Bilstein for helping me figure out the right combo of valving and shock mounting for this one off application. Drop I beams installed for mock up.

Front airbag/lower shock mount brackets fabbed up here along with 2/3 finished sway bar bracketry.

Finally got the wheels and tires put together!! Very happy. Not a scratch! Tires are Falken 265-40-r22. Each has a load rating of 2180lbs.

So in anticipation of new shoes I figured it was time to put the finishing touches on Hank's front suspension. All that's left is a new location for bump stops and maybe some trimming in the coil spring bucket where the caliper comes close at full compression. Looks like BIG!

So it's time to move on to the rear. I have purchased some frame rails from a cab and chassis F350 truck cut off behind the cab to give me plenty of length to work with. They have been sand blasted and now I'm just working through some ideas in my head about narrowing the frame. I bought them because they are 8" tall and my 250 frame rails and crosss member are 6.5" where I want to cut it. I figured I could fish mouth and gusset gusset gusset were the frame rails are being moved inwards. Any frame gurus PLEASE feel free to chime in NOW and not later after I've done what I've done. I'm looking for any and all advice.

Pics of the frame sections would be awesome, but it sounds like you have the right idea..... neck it down and gusset it.

The adapters came from Arrowcraft. They are one of the original companies that manufactures parts for dual rear wheel conversions for non dually trucks. They are made in the USA and a good price too. I would give them two thumbs way up.
