really cool :hd:

from what car did your booster come off of?
have u checked the rod to brake pedal length?
I just reread your post about what you used, I guess I just looked at pics before... anyway, I used a bracket from a 78 pickup Ithink. I didnt have to longate any holes to bolt it to the firewall. I cant see real well in your pics, but mine has a little trapeze like bracket in it... I think my booster looks the same as yours though. for the rod I welded a heim joint on an moved my pedal down closer to the floor for comfort, so Im not sure what it would have been like to try to use stock parts since I never mocked it up that way

i did check the length and its short an inch, inch in a half. the brecket from the 67fairlane works just fine. i will need to lengthen 2 bolt holes to bolt it on properly. the booster is in good shape but im finding some crazy cheap boosters online that are brands and models i know work so im thinkin ima gonna buy me a new booster :hd: but first i am going to try and contact the fellow that i bought the disk i beam off of and see if i can buy the booster w/bracket off the same truck. and see if it will be a 'plug and play' with no fabs.

we will see and i will take pics

Thanks, im hoping the i beam will be easier to install then it was to remove. not sure if it would of been easier to swop out the spindel; i had no choice, it was bent. you should i asked some people on here and localy for there testimonies. %100 positive feedback. plus i had a 73 in highschool with these exact brakes. it stopped pretty well... well it was a f1250 so maybe not exact.

more pics coming soon. :hd:

welp i got busy with the front disc i beam last week. i got her taken apart then painted and sealed. the wife was out of town so i 'actually' had time to work on my truck as needed
Image
Image
istallation was easier then i thought. about as hard as taking it out. i had to put some muscle into it and much hammering with my mallot. the driver side was easier.
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image
everything i re-used from both ibeams, except the caliper, pads, hoses and bushings. the rotors are still fine. i will need to replace them soon.
Image
re-used my shocks too, i will probably get a new set of those down the road. i just want her back on the street.
Image
Image
about this time of the week i was tired, so i installed the drag/steering linkage with out cleaning them up too much. i may paint it later.
i put new boots on the ball joints. and greesed them up goooood. even the spindle/king pins.
Image
if you see what i did wrong in the pic above then you have a good eye. hey! i was tired and once i noticed i just said #*&@ IT! :x  if you cant see what i did wrong then im going to act like the installation went flawless :D :hd:
Image

BAM!!!! SHES ON ALL 4 WHEELS AGAIN!
Image
Image
Image

well all i have left is to install the brake hoses and the front end project is complete.

next is (not actual order) changing out the coupling/ragjoint, brake booster & P-valve, some dual flowmaster exhaust and fix the cab mounts the best i can.

but in reality what is the next task to start is what parts come available. Im meeting up with a guy in a weeks time that has many of the front clip parts i need to give her a face back. if that goes well then ill probably hury and install the radiator core support and install the radiator so i can get her started again.

thanks for following my thread guys
