1947 Mercury owner from Alberta
started working on thisRust free 47 Merc in 67 with a good friend, he took it to Edmonton and moved it around from body shop to body shop that he worked at,. finally 5 yrs ago I brought it home in 2 loads and started assembling it, it has a 53 110 HP flathead that knocks, box is a reproduction 48 ..rest is original, I found 3 VIN tags in a parts box, like to know which one belongs to it.,if any? are there any Merc Experts that can help, going to sell the truck we moved into town from the farm, and have no decent garage to work in anymore.
