Welp its in. after tightenting it up its as square as its every going to get. Moving on to the steering next. I will keep the updates coming.

ANy ideas for steering linkage? Looks like I am going to have to source a new shaft with a splined end. I think the late '70s trucks came with tilt columns. I might start looking for them.

hey guys its my first time on this forum . can someone give me the measurements from centerline of core support hole to the centerline of where the new holes are drilled.
i bought a 72 f100 about 3 weeks ago and a 2003 crown vic about a week ago .... ( 72) engine ,tranny is now pulled front cap is pulled. im going to take it to bare frame do all of my fab work and por15 the whole frame so any tips would be great

measure measure measure...The truck axle centerline is approx 22" back off teh core support holes. Your centerline for the CV is offset from the holes. Best thing to do is measure as much as you can, get it to where you think the centerlines match up then do some mock-up.
