That looks like a great truck to start with. I wish I had a 4x4 crew! Keep the pictures coming

Nice haul bud! Looks like you'll have plenty to keep you busy for a while.

For the record, that core support is set up for Ford's "SuperCooler" radiator. Very nice!

keebob61, here is a pic of the super cooling radiator. It was a massive factory 4 core rad. Very heavy duty. Notice the side flanges in the pic, just like the ones on your core support. Last I checked, no re-pops were being made & good rebuildable units are highly sought after.

I have that same massive radiator :yt: but it leaks, I was going to scrap it before I read this thread. How highly sought after are they?

The super cools are made and reasonably priced new. An old leaky one is worth about $50 in scrap metal.

Nice crew project at a pretty fair price.

Dustin, thanks for the info. I was under the impression they were hard to find. Maybe it's the core supports I was thinking of. :hmm:

Welcome back Jake!! I remember your project, and am looking forward to seeing your progress!

On the 3G, just google it, there's information all over. I got mine from a '96 Taurus and it's the 130 amp model that has 7" between mounting holes. Bolts right up. And no, it's not a true "1-wire". http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 80#p589800

Sorry - I'm no help on the super cooler radiator, but I'm sure on of the experts here will be.
