This is a great site! I recently purchased a 1968 F100 with a 390 and I found some great info. I have been a Chev man for the most part, my only other Ford was a 1969 F100 about 20 years ago with a 240 straight six ( tough as nails). I will definetly be using this site for reference as I rebuild my new toy.

from California. I'm like you per say, a Chevy man. But I had a 71 f250 as my first vehicle and that truck was bullet proof. So, now later in life, I had to pick up one again and I love it. Have fun with your new project!

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
