Just a quick question I was wondering how much does this topper weigh? :hmm: Its only me, my wife and my father-in-law to move it. Its kinda getting in the way and I really don't any need for it till the winter. Im not sure what brand or model it is but it's an 8ft topper. :?

Shouldn't be over 300lbs. I'd suggest just loosening one side and see if you can lift it. That truck is long enough to put a hot tub in the back cab.

Here's a thread on that very easy to do I haven't done my yet I just put my dash back in and remember that I wanted to do the samething so I pulled the dash back out and noticed that you can get to it from under dash. About half way down you see the wiring diagram. Hope this helps.

Koch68 sorry to throw anyone off by my username my truck is a F100 not really a highboy. The cab marker lights are some I bought from harbor freight. Its wired to switch that I mounted to the bottom of the dashboard. So I can run them independently to all the other light. Another way is to take a test light and probe wire by the light switch and find the wire that goes to the running lights. Once you find them just use a clip and tap into that wire. I personally like just using switches they look cool to me and it eliminates any confusing when there is a problem. If you would like any other pictures just let me know. Ill snap some up and post them.

In this picture you can see down below the ignition hole there is the switch holder. That one is actually to my 2 off road lights mounted by the top bumper bolts. Custom brackets I built in my AG shop. There were two existing holes that were on the bottom and I just took a plastic divider to one of my accessories wire boxes and used a razor blade to cut a opening to hold the switch and used a lighter to heat the plastic and bent it to how I wanted it. Works perfect and is very inexpensive.
