Is there any differance between 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton or camper special C-6 trans ?
67 F-250 CUSTOM, 428, 4 SPEED, DISC BRAKES, P/S, EATON ELOCKER, 3.54 GEARS
68 F-250 CAMPER SPECIAL 360, C-6

There shouldn't be any difference in the trans internals.

To add to what Bobby said above, there are long and short tailshaft and divorced and married versions of the C-6. But I'm not sure what all versions came in our bumps. Did the C-6 even come in our bumps Bobby-or was it the cruis-o-matic? :hmm:

Good point, Jeff. I didn't notice that his signature says "67 F250". 67 had a COM.

His '67 has a 4 speed in it. His '68 is the one with a C6. The only differences I know of between the C6 is the bellhousing shape, and tailshaft lengths.

I'm pretty sure the forward clutch drums are different between a passenger car trans and a truck trans with regard to the number of clutches... :hmm:
But truck to truck should be the same, except for tailshaft length.
