On the 9" draining topic I'd tend to agree with the "just pull the chunk" crowd. I've found chunks in a few 9 inches that would never have come out even with a drain plug.

Man have I had my share of axle issues over 30 years, especially due to clogged vents. Blown axle shaft seals and blown out pinion seals just aren't fun anymore to me. This was the first time in my life I had the time to do a vent right! :lol:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
