Good day!
Over the last six months I've been purging my junk cache from my father's yard, and I'll be making my first scrap iron run soon.
Before scrapping these items, I wanted to give y'all a chance to claim anything you'd like.
A few parts in these photos I won't scrap: the FE oil pan, the Datsun 240z exhaust system, and maybe something I'm forgetting. But most of what you see in the photos is up for grabs. Y'all can click on the photos to enlarge them.
This 360 FE block's what's left of #50's original engine. During a sudden energy burst months back, I pulled some of it apart, but the energy burst concluded before the finish line. This engine ran very badly, and sat out in the rain for a few years after I pulled it. But the block itself is still probably fine for an FE build, if somebody's looking for a block.
This C6 came from a 1968 F100 FE 4x2 I owned years ago. Its first gear (and reverse, I think) worked, but that was all--I actually drove the truck all the way across town in first! You can see in the image on the right that its selector arm was bent during some crude handling.
Here's its torque converter, in unknown condition (probably toast, but who knows).
This boat anchor intake came from #50's original 360.
This boat anchor intake came from that 1968 F100 I just mentioned.
The only part I'm thinking of hanging on to in this photo's the pulley, just in case I ever decide to revert to a v-belt setup on #50. I won't scrap the FE oil pan since I know guys occasionally want those.
That clutch looks like it still has some good life left in it, doesn't it!
As I mentioned above, I might hang on to the z-car exhaust setup for now; I haven't really decided yet.
Thanks for looking!

Re: Junk give-away in Salinas, CA: 360 block, C6 and more.
Good afternoon,
Most of the above-portrayed items of prestige and glamor have either been scrapped or have found new homes.
While loading for the scrap run, there were some items I didn't have the heart to give up on so easily.
A 4x2 truck-style, horizontal oil filter adapter.
A not-so-fresh starter locating plate.
A C6 inspection cover, in good shape.
A not-so-great heat riser tube. One of the holes with which it fastens to the manifold has a crack in it, and it's clearly rusty.
Two FE valley trays; here's one:
An FE 4x2 dipstick (sorry for the poor photo):
An FE 4x2 oil pan. I noticed some surface rust on its exterior, but it doesn't appear to have any significant bashes:
An FE distributor hold-down bracket:

Re: Junk give-away in Salinas, CA: only a few items remain
I need a dipstick, as I broke the heck outta mine.
All I have left is "ULL." The rest is sitting at the bottom of my oil pan.
Can I pay you to send it to me in sunny SoCal?

It's yours Steve! PM sent.
It took me a few passes to understand what "ULL" meant. Now I get it.

Rob, Anyway i can talk you outah that Fe Crank Pully? how many grooves is it 1? 2? 3? right now i have an unknown motor size one from a 7'6 or '77 that fits but now is suspect due to pulley noises.
