1969 f100 ranger 302 lwb
I figured i would start dumping my pictures off on here so i can free up some space on my phone. Ill give some back ground on the truck first. in 1969 my grand father (moms dad) bought the truck new off the lot in dallas. he would eventually sell the truck to my great grandfather (moms grandpa) because of financial problems. my great grandfather let it set off and on until he died in 2001. my great grandmother kept the truck till she died a few years after. my grandmother didnt want the truck and wanted to sell it so my grandfather on my fathers side bought it and drove it to east texas where it sat til just a few months back when i asked to trade the truck for a custom built bumper built by me.

I put a 4 barrel intake and holley on the 302 and got a set of tri-y mustang headers from my buddy.
as you can see there was problems making them fit
sooo...... CHOP CHOP!
i finally got them to fit and went on to put some scrap turbo mufflers on just past the cabYou do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The 302 ran, but just didnt sound right. it sounded like it was missing on a cylinder or two and had 10 psi and hot idle. so i wanted to go ahead and do a rebuild.

The timing chain was really loose and had jumped a tooth, the bearings were gone, and one valve was eatin to heck.
Here i am grinding the valves, luckily i had a spare valve from another head to replace the one that was destroyed.
Here i am cutting the seats You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
