If you thought i was talking about my pride and joy you are
Just bought a '78 f250 4x4 for a stupid low price. I just want the front axle. It has a strong 351m, np435, and mated np205 transfer case. Dana 60 rear with 4.10 ratio. body is pretty straight.
Power steering box..
Let me know if you're interested in any of these parts. I am stripping it down this weekend and scraping it next week.

Re: Parting out highboy - Sacramento area
Correct... and i'm usually the one correcting people on that
I call it a highboy when i am talking to anyone about it because 1) They don't know any better 2)It is much easier to say than 1978 f250 4x4
So I'm in the habbit of calling the stupid thing a highboy

Ryan,
Does this truck have two fuel tanks? I am looking for an electrically controlled fuel tank selector valve for a dual tank truck.

Can you send me a picture? I got a '73 crew cab that I might need a donor for odds and ends.

Do you have -- and are you selling -- the front disk brake setup? If so, can I put 4x4 front disk brakes on a 2WD?
Thanks,
Joseph

Re: Parting out highboy - Sacramento area
jhndrrus, It's not really a odds and ends kind of truck. There aren't a whole lot of good parts on it for that type of stuff, its really all about the big parts on this truck. The engine, transmission, transfer case, axles (keeping front axle), etc.
colnago, I'm keeping the front axle (reason i bought the truck) and no, won't work on a 2wd.
