1979 4x4 1 ton dana 60 disc brake front end (complete)

this front end was under a 1979 f350 4x4 . it is the 1 ton dana 60 kingpin style front end i think it is a 3.54 ratio it is complete from hub to hub and still has the tie rods and sway bar on it . would be perfect to swap into a high boy truck .had this for my 1971 high boy project but might go a different direction now so will sell this but i am pretty firm on the price at 1200.00 . if interested send me a pm with a number and i will call you back . thanks

what was the shipping zakt? where did that front end come from? Id love to snag this front end up but to ship accross the country just doesnt sounds cheap.

I have been doing searches nation wide craigslist to find one for some time... http://www.searchtempest.com Then finally came across this and someone who is willing to ship this was in NY. shipping was $500.00 to california. Was telling me he had a 79 crewcab and was telling him about putting it in the front of my 72 crew so I think he went out of his way to help me out

Yikes, thats a good chunk of change. Why cant these front ends just be plentiful and cheap?? that would make things so much easier!

Yea that would be nice

I just want a D60 because of re-doing gears is much easier

did gears on the D30 front axle in our jeep and what a pain the shim are under the carrier bearings so to change have to pull the bearings. Even used setup bearings that where new but had to bull one and messed it up pulling (yes I know can get a clam shell deal that will most likely take them off but for just 1 time.....)

front end is sold . for a home made rock crawler what a shame i was hoping someone on here would get ot for that old high boy that they was fixing .
