Hi, I need rear springs for a 67 F-250 in Bloomington, Indiana.
Someone put mine together wrong and torched up the lift blocks to make them fit. Half the leaves in both the working springs and the overloads are cracked, and I had to cut the u-bolts to get them apart, so anything will help.
What would be super awesome is if someone wants to offset the cost of a lift by selling me their old springs and hardware...

PS - I don't know what the heck this person was thinking, and I suspect that my truck was owned by someone with a serious substance abuse problem at some point. This clown put the overload springs on the bottom, where the lifting blocks should go, then put the lift blocks on top of the springs so the U-bolts would fit. Then, since the bumpstop horns were now hitting the frame, he torched them off.
Who does that? I mean really, who the hell takes something apart, puts it together wrong, and then starts torching things instead of fixing the problems they just caused? Probably the same person who lost a ground in the tail lights and therefore started hacking up the wiring harness (sure, it stopped working after working fine for years, obviously some of the wires were connected to the wrong places and it was a total fluke that it worked when it came out of the factory), or the person who lost no fewer than four 1/2" sockets in the front fender when working on the door hinges and didn't bother to take them out. Or the person who lost a humongous screwdriver in the tail light housing and left it to beat up the wiring. Or the person who hacked the bottom off the bed, and caulked a newer one to the bottom of the truck with urethane house caulk. Or the person who did the body work with bondo and aluminum siding scraps. Or the person who over torqued the steering box so badly that it broke and then just ran it like that. Or the person who drilled a bunch of holes in the dash for corny accessories. Or the person who used the aluminum nails instead of cotter pins. Or the person who hacked up the engine mounts. Or the person who had a completely wrong rear bearing just sort of sitting in the rear axle. Or the person who ran the speedometer cable along the exhaust and melted it. Or the person who couldn't find all the right bolts to put the trans tunnel cover back on and used half a box of self tapping screws instead.
Sorry, had to vent.
I also need a drivers side rear tail light cover if you have one...

Sounds like you might want to call htis one your "parts truck" and move onto another in better shape to start with?
Far as the springs goes... if you look around your area I'm sure you'll have a spring shop somehwere nearby. Also can be had new from some of the aftermarket stores. Before buying anything I'd look into cost of buying all new. They're not cheap... but there is something to be said for new when it comes to springs. If nothing else you'll be sure you're gonna sit level after a matched pair is installed. Grab one here and another one there and you might sit crooked depending on how whooped either one is.

Bob, I am kind of attached to the old girl. And anyhow, I have already fixed so much junk that I don't want to start over.
If I could just find the lifting blocks I think I would be ok. I can get all the other stuff new, but finding 2.25 inch wide lift blocks with bumpstop horns is a problem, and I don't want to run without stops.
Anyone want to sell me some factory high boy lift blocks? If someone has factory U-bolts that still have some thread on them, that would be great too...
$40.00 plus shipping in one of those USPS flat rate boxes for U-bolts and blocks? Any takers?
