1967 dash, heater controls, cables, ...

Post by SillyValleyF250 »

Hi,

A previous owner hacked up the dash in my little Effie, to put in some odd aftermarket noisemaker. I'm looking to get the steel dash, side-to-side, if that is easily removable. If not, just a slice up the middle of the dash, from about the middle of the ash tray to the edge of the glove box door would be great. I'd also like a set of heater controls and cables, as the previous owner apparently thought tunes were more important than heat, too.

If a radio and bezel and speaker and bracket were to find their way into the box, that wouldn't be too bad, either.

Thanks,

I haven't looked underneath the dash, to see what all is involved in R&R. Is it a bolt-in, or will I need to remove the windshield and drill out a million spotwelds and such?

If it's a bolt-in, I'd love to have the whole thing, so I can get it Line-X'ed or something before going back in.

Thanks!
