Came over from the sister site and was refered to both sites by TnIceWolf.
I have a 1978 Ford F150 Custom 4x4. She started life as a straight 6 and now boast a hearty 351/400m with a 4 speed and a 3 inch block lift. Unfortunately, she was abused, used and hung up wet her past few years of life before I got her and now she is on the road to recovery. Here is the only picture I have of her until I can get her rolling. The 9 inch is destroyed internally, but will soon be going under the knife.
Presently in the stable

from Georgia. I've got a friend that had a '79 like yours (except LWB) with the same drivetrain. That thing was a beast! He cut down every tree under a foot in diameter on his 3 acres, leaving about 4ft high, and we spent all day with that truck hooking her up and snatching stumps. She never broke a sweat.

He did tell me about the meet in Sevierville, but unfortunately I have to work or else I would be there. Have to catch it next time. As for the 9in, yeah she is dead. More than likely the spider gears are gone. Like I said, she was rode hard and hung up wet. I will get some pics of the carnage once I get time to pull the pumkin.

She's a beast for sure. Can't wait to get all the bad gas out and the 9in done so I can open her up.
